does anyone else get mad when people blame rats for the bubonic plague especially since the latest historiography you've read indicates that scholars now think its more likely the primary drivers of plague at the time were rich people traveling between places
people always want to blame the cute little scurrying things but it always turns out to be a rich white person thus making scooby doo the most accurate documentary ever.
