my workplace, and especially my department, are kinda combusting, so i need to find another job, but there is nothing out there for natural-born sidekicks who can't do paperwork, are weak as shit, lack people skills, and have zero (0) ambition to move up the corporate ladder............

#i've kinda uhh.... declined since like 2019 and the list of jobs i feel capable of doing dwindles each year #scribby ramblings #i'll have more positive stuff to share some other time #the end of the year and my birthday are the times i look hardest at my life and feel disappointed lol

wishing you luck on the job front... it seems especially miserable to look for anything right now, let alone something that doesn't make you wanna pull your hair out with how miserable it is 😩

thanksies, and right?! job-hunting is such a miserable process!! 🫠 my current job involves a lot of driving, data entry, is VERY people facing, and is painfully sales-focused..... all of which is super exhausting, but manageable. now i'm gonna have a ton of administrative and marketing things added on, and i'm just like..... first off, i am very NOT built for a lot of what i'm already doing, but when my job shifted a bit before, i was able to adapt. i can only do so much outside of my natural scope and aptitude tho uwaaaaah!!! ToT

love how workplaces try to do responsibility creep and slowly tack on more and more tasks to your routine like you're not gonna notice and eventually burn out because of it (bonus points for no change in wages to reflect a higher workload) 😩 i'm sorry they already shoved more onto you and are trying to do it again... wish jobs with a simple baseline expectation still existed and you weren't forced to be a jack of all trades just to make money 😔 i hope you can find something that actually aligns with what you're confident doing without pushing you beyond your limits 🥺

so true aaaah!! like i've worked several jobs with the lovely disclaimer on the job description of "other duties outside of those listed" which is such gaaaarbage! i'm sure something will come along. just gotta endure until then 💪😭💖
