I realize these get virtually no engagement so maybe I'll just compile all of my gifs from the day into one top post. Either way, realistic book physics:
my earliest morning attempt, the ease with which this came together made me think this would be easy.
After spending a few hours figuring out why I was constantly desyncing I managed to get slightly better results (I will add something you can surf on, just not books)
This is more or less where I ended up. It looks like physics even if what's happening under the hood bears more of a resemblance to animation. This isn't a book toppling simulator, it's a multiplayer cat sandbox.
