Yeah i was trying to make it like one of those flexi snake toys, with some design concessions due to the body being so much bigger than the cloth tape those get built around. One made of clear plastic would be sick as hell!
Word of caution figure out how to handle the power supply first, i just wanted to drill a hole and shove a cellphone powerstick in there like a fat AA battery but incorporating some means to actually charge the thing or turn it on/off without pulling the whole thing out demands a lot more space than I budgeted for
It's gonna take some serious thinking! And since anything I make clear will show the guts, I might hide them in a little box the fish lives on top of, a compromise. I'll do some sketching!
Hm it woulda been a little out of the scope of this particular last-minute 7-year-old's birthday present but working in an induction charger would be pretty slick. Thing goes on the pedestal and lights up, pick it up and it's just a toy no visible connectors or anything
