some spalted sycamore pulled from the park out here, cut it up on the bandsaw last June and it's been on stickers drying since. Between the cracks and bug holes I'm not getting anything big out of all this, but it'll make a few nice somethings
While I don't generally recommend DIY cutting and drying your own lumber unless you've got a farm or something to do it on, you can get cool stuff out of it that you'd likely never see at the store
