Don't have a lot to say about Occupy in light of what's followed. Once-in-a-lifetime national convergence of disparate leftist groups under one bumptious banner, all the contacts and resources one could ask for, cops absolutely did not know how to deal with it. Probably the last chance anything coulda actually gone different in the US, but nobody figured out how to organize a next step phase, and then the moment was gone
