Happy New Year!
I worked way too hard in 2022. The above consisted of more than 12,000 pages of manga totaling more than 600,000 words. But there was a lot of good stuff mixed in! A Condition Called Love and Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister are both in the process of getting new print releases and come highly recommended. Vampire Dormitory is popcorn crossdressing supernatural romance. Piano Duo for the Left Hand is all-around incredible. And Onimai is cute, sweet, funny, and obviously written for a very specific kind of pervert (and it has an anime adaptation that starts airing next week!) All in all, it was rewarding but exhausting and I'm glad it's over. My translation brain is fried and it's way past time for a long break…
