the thing about film photography is, you don't know what you've taken until after it's developed (and scanned, if you're most people in 2023).
sometimes that means you develop a roll, forget to scan it for two months, and end up deeply unhappy with yr results anyway. and that's okay! i knew it was a gamble, taking my camera along for a ferry ride on a wicked cloudy day. the skies cleared up as i approached seattle and i'm honestly happier with the pictures i took on my phone of the approach back into the city than i am with anything off of this roll. shit happens, y'know? it's just HP51.
the roll wasn't a total waste though, 'cause i got these pictures of some guy feeding the seagulls with french fries from the galley.
