it's so funny when i go to get something that is not a cat treat from the drawer where we keep the cat treats (plus other things) and the cats both come running and wind lovingly about my legs but then i walk off, oblivious, and the cats remain behind and give each other meaningful but ambiguous looks as the theme from SUCCESSION (2018-2023) starts to play

We keep the treats in the pantry and anytime that pantry opens, she jumps up on the kitchen table and cranes her neck out as far as she can to rub on your shoulder all lovingly and also yell as loud as she can. If you walk away without getting treats, she'll reach out her paw to hook into your clothes to try and stop you lmao
After I have retired to the couch for the evening, every time I get up Tabitha will follow me in hopes of getting treats. (She usually gets them too :-))
