I like all of these, I couldn't pick which one I liked more! Plus the mechanics if she was an actual fight!
if you want to make your own mechanics: https://en.shindanmaker.com/1138349
and subtitle generator: https://croagunk.github.io/FFXIV-Boss-Subtitle-Generator/

Battle Mechanics
Phase 1: starts as a Dark Knight, basic attacks and summons pools of Darkness which slow down and damage if stepped in
Phase 2: switches to dancer and throws her Chakrams which make donut Aoe. after two of those she begans improvisation which causes Forced March, have to position to avoid the AOEs. During this phase she will also dash to random characters to do another Donut Aoe, which increases in size outward, be careful to not overlap these with regular AOE
Phase 3: she summons Ruby Carbuncles which must be avoided, these run to points in the arena and cause explosions, these Twice Come Ruin
at half HP she begans laughing, triggering a cutscene where she throws away her chakrams and Pulls out her axe. She then gets Fell Cleave Tankbusters which must be shared between tanks. at 25% she will then use Holmgang, becoming invulnerable to attacks as she charges her Beast Gauge. This ends when it's full, and she uses Inner Release to perform a cinematic series of powerful giant axe swings, tearing open reality and pulling the arena into the void. a tank LB3 is required to prevent a wipe from the darkness crushing in.

@GraceHorizon

Grace has decided to stop all this nonsense before it started, regardless of who or what might be erased from the timeline. If you think you can stop her, you are welcome to try. She will meet you at the pinnacle of Ktisis Hyperborea.

A few mechanics, based on my favorite jobs:

  • Eukrasian Dyskrasia: Massive partywide DoT. A heal check, but the rest of the party still has things to do while the healers are busy.
  • Fell Harvest: Grace moves to the center of the arena and does a rotating sequence of half-arena cleaves. The cleaves inflict Doom if they hit, which can be removed by healing to full.
  • Verfoul/Vermisery: Large AoE shared tankbuster, followed by tracking donut AoEs centered on the main tank and two randomly selected non-tank party members.
  • Star Waker: Big cinematic partywide attack. A volcano erupts from under the arena. Requires tank LB3.

ann-arcana
@ann-arcana

This is what I jotted down a while back, based on Anna's three canon classes:

Phase 1: BLM mode. Straightforward AOE dodging
Phase 2: DRK, low damage but some wicked tankbusters, and summons living shadow to target back DPS
Phase 3: RPR. this is when it starts getting evil. lots of split attacks that ignore threat, but some kind of mechanic that forces her to split with the voidsent. DPS race to kill the voidsent before she can rebind it; on a fail she soul reaps the entire party.
Phase 4: Meteor. Just. Meteor. Nastier AOE dodging plus guaranteed wipe if the party doesn't burn her down before it hits.
Thematically, it's her pulling deeper and deeper from the black as the fight goes on and exhausts her, before finally pulling that sweet sweet apocalypse juice from before time itself

I might work in her SMN skills now, because that's sort of been added to the main rotation, but I think this is more consistent thematically.

EDIT: Also I could probably have chosen a better venue for this pic but I'm in a meeting rn. Will maybe do a better one later.

"ah so you've come to avenge those at the Castrum? at the Praetorium? Surely you've heard the horror stories, of the tales of what torture I wrought on my foes there... and still you approach? Yes... oh this will be a fun fight, hopefully a longer one than most of your comrades!"
