I like all of these, I couldn't pick which one I liked more! Plus the mechanics if she was an actual fight!

Battle Mechanics
Phase 1: starts as a Dark Knight, basic attacks and summons pools of Darkness which slow down and damage if stepped in
Phase 2: switches to dancer and throws her Chakrams which make donut Aoe. after two of those she begans improvisation which causes Forced March, have to position to avoid the AOEs. During this phase she will also dash to random characters to do another Donut Aoe, which increases in size outward, be careful to not overlap these with regular AOE
Phase 3: she summons Ruby Carbuncles which must be avoided, these run to points in the arena and cause explosions, these Twice Come Ruin
at half HP she begans laughing, triggering a cutscene where she throws away her chakrams and Pulls out her axe. She then gets Fell Cleave Tankbusters which must be shared between tanks. at 25% she will then use Holmgang, becoming invulnerable to attacks as she charges her Beast Gauge. This ends when it's full, and she uses Inner Release to perform a cinematic series of powerful giant axe swings, tearing open reality and pulling the arena into the void. a tank LB3 is required to prevent a wipe from the darkness crushing in.

"Well well, the Warrior of Light. I can't say this is an unexpected surprise. In fact, you'll find me quite prepared for your timely arrival."
He gestures, calling forth his Nouliths to float idly around him.
"Unfortunately your meddling has gone too far this time, old friend."
He spurs his Nouliths into motion, drawing a runic diagram in the air that he reaches into. With a flash of light, he pulls out a pair of aether-formed fighting knuckles.
"I've come too far to be bested by the likes of you! Come at me, if you dare!"

Mechanics

Y'ronan is fought in a square arena with a 4x4 pattern of tiles that will be used for AoE positioning.

Phase 1: Flurry of Fists

  • Auto-attacks the tank at a fairly decent pace.
  • Uses Somersault Strike before any other mechanics. This is a shared tankbuster attack that leaves two stacks of the debuff "Arcane Mark" on whoever is hit, splitting the stacks between all players that take the attack. If more than two players stand in the attack, the debuff is given at random.
  • After Somersault Strike, Y'ronan dashes to the center of the arena and readies Arcane Blaze, a raidwide AoE that consumes Arcane Mark debuffs to deal additional massive damage. Two stacks will instantly kill any player, while one stack will leave them near death. It's recommended that the tanks take this attack, as other classes may not have the health and defensive stats to withstand the damage.
  • After Arcane Blaze, Y'ronan goes back to auto-attacking the primary tank for a bit, giving healers the chance to restore enough health for the next mechanic.
  • Once enough time has passed, Y'ronan readies Spellsteel Blitz, marking every DPS with a tracking circle AoE that must be moved away from other players.
  • After using Spellsteel Blitz, Y'ronan will immediately ready Spellsteel Combo, a follow-up attack with a faster castbar.
  • After the full sequence of mechanics is finished, Y'ronan will auto-attack the tank for a while, and then send out his Nouliths to fire Pneuma beams down two lines of the arena at once. This is a fairly standard line aoe dodge, but the players must pay attention to the edges of the arena to see where the nouliths fly to, as their telegraphs won't show up until about 1.5 seconds are left on the internal cast time.
  • Once this last mechanic is introduced, Y'ronan repeats the sequence, but the nouliths will regularly move to a different part of the arena to ready their Pneuma beam aoes, which must be dodged alongside the other mechanics.

Phase 2: The Sage Shuffle

Once Y'ronan's health is depleted, he loses his knuckles and instead opts to fight you with his nouliths directly. This is intended to be a more mechanics-heavy phase than the other two

  • Still auto-attacks, but they deal less damage.
  • At the start of the phase, Y'ronan casts Arcane Dyskrasia, a quick raidwide that blasts all over the arena. Does minor damage, but will scale heavily with vuln stacks.
  • While he auto-attacks the tank, his nouliths will move on their own to the four 2x2 tile sections of the arena. Players will need to watch for what direction the nouliths are facing - made easier by the glowing lines in the center of the models. If the noulith is horizontal, it will cover the entire 2x2 area with its attack. If the noulith is vertical, it will do a donut centered on the middle of the 2x2 area, giving players a window to dodge in. Earlier in the phase, the pattern will be an even 2/2 split of both types of attack, but as the phase progresses, eventually players will need to dodge 3/1 splits, favoring either of the two attacks.
  • After about three patterns of noulith attacks, Y'ronan will recall them and start readying Arcane Toxikon, in which all four nouliths will attack down two lines each, intersecting with the other two in a checkerboard pattern. The first time this ability is used it only happens once, but with each subsequent cast the nouliths will come back down the other lines they missed the first time, turning it into an alternating checkerboard AoE.
  • After Arcane Toxikon, Y'ronan empowers himself with Antikardia, causing further noulith attacks to inflict any players hit with Antikardion, a debuff that deals damage equal to the damage taken by all other players hit with noulith attacks. This debuff cannot be cleansed, but damage taken can be mitigated or shielded through in a pinch.
  • From here, Y'ronan repeats mechanics, but the order they happen in is random. He could do two corner attacks, Arcane Toxikon, and then another corner attack, or do Arcane Toxikon first and then three corner attacks, or any other combination of three corner attacks and Arcane Toxikon. This is also when the corner attack patterns will start to become more difficult to dodge.

Phase 3: Warrior-Mage, Unleashed

Once Y'ronan's health has been depleted a second time, he recovers from losing his aether weapons and summons his Greataxe this time, instead. This phase hits much harder than the other two, with more of an emphasis on paying attention to what mechanic is coming next to dodge AoEs properly.

  • Auto-attacks are slower than previous phases, but hit harder.
  • A short time after entering the phase, Y'ronan readies Arcane Storm, a basic tankbuster.
  • After Arcane Storm, he'll mark one of the two healers with Runefall, a basic stack AoE. Note that he jumps to the target to deliver the attack, so positioning matters.
  • After Runefall, he'll target the offtank with Arcane Surge, a tankbuster similar to Arcane Storm, but with one exception: he grants himself the Arcane Surge buff.
  • After Arcane Surge, he jumps to the center of the arena and readies Surging Runeshock, a donut aoe that covers the entire arena followed by a circular AoE that leaves only the corners as safe spots.
  • The sequence then repeats, only inverted. Arcane Storm comes first, then Runeshock, the "regular" version of Surging Runeshock, with only the circular AoE to worry about.
  • After the second Arcane Surge, Y'ronan readies Surging Runefall, which does the same thing as Runefall, except immediately after striking the first healer, the second healer will be marked with a second stack marker with a faster cast time.
  • Now that all four permutations of the Rune attacks have been introduced, Y'ronan will mix up the ordering, forcing players to pay attention to whether he's using Storm or Surge, and adjusting to the following AoE accordingly.
  • After the next Storm/Surge -> Runefall/Runeshock combo, Y'ronan throws in Spellsteel Slam, a frontal cone AoE that covers 90% of the arena, leaving just the two corners beside him as safe spots.
  • Immediately after Spellsteel Slam, he'll follow up with Spellsteel Tempest, a double donut AoE that covers up the far half of the arena completely, leaving only circles in front of him as safe spots.
  • The sequence then repeats, with Y'ronan throwing in Spellsteel Slams after every other Rune attack until he reaches 50% health. At this point, he empowers himself with Battle Trance, increasing the damage of his attacks and throwing in a few new mechanics on top of the existing ones.
    • Whenever Y'ronan is readying Runefall, he'll now also send out his nouliths to mark two DPS with chasing AoEs, forcing them to run away from the stack markers in order to not deal unnecessary damage to the party, and increasing the amount of damage each stacking player takes.
    • Whenever Y'ronan is readying Runeshock or Spellsteel Slam, he'll now also send out his nouliths to fire a Pneuma beam down two adjacent lines of the arena, giving players only half of the usual amount of safe spots.
    • Players that take damage from his axe AoEs will add to his Battle Trance stacks, further increasing his damage dealt.
  • Once Y'ronan reaches 20% of his health remaining, he'll stop fighting and jump to the center of the arena. His nouliths take up positions around him and start firing beams towards him, covering him with a massive Eukrasian Barrier while he charges up a massive attack. Players must burn down the nouliths to break his barrier, and then kill him before he can finish his castbar, or else he'll use Final Stand, a massive raidwide that will wipe the party.

"ah so you've come to avenge those at the Castrum? at the Praetorium? Surely you've heard the horror stories, of the tales of what torture I wrought on my foes there... and still you approach? Yes... oh this will be a fun fight, hopefully a longer one than most of your comrades!"
