best queer media (books, movies, anime, etc) you've read/watched recently?

Oooh, normally I'd love to drop a ton of stuff but I've been a bit busy the last month & haven't been reading or watching as much...

Cover of yuri manga AFTER HOURS vol 3. Shows two women in a car together, smiling and looking out at the night life. One has very short hair & and undercut, while the other has pigtails and a big grin.

but! this morning I just finished up After Hours, a short yuri series about two women who start DJing together, and before that I read Run Away With Me, Girl another great short series about two high school girlfriends who meet by chance a decade later. I'd highly recommend both!

Promo art for YURI IS MY JOB. Shows a short blonde girl with long hair touching hands with a taller brunette. Both are wearing green sailor uniforms with black skirts, and they're standing in front of a window exploding with light and petals.

Hmm... for anime, I recently watched Yuri Is My Job and it was surprisingly fun! The conceit is basically a group of girls who work at a themed café where they put on an act of being flirtatious students at a noble all-girls academy - but half of them keep forgetting it's supposed to be just a show and get swept away in the romance. The characters are all really fun, with deep & genuine writing!

Screenshot of Touhou Panel Date Pon. Shows a game of panel de pon - two towers of falling blocks facing each other. On one side, Reimu from touhou (a brunette miko) casts the spell Treasure Sign Yin Yang Orb

For games, I played @Lily-Cutesmith's Touhou Panel Date Pon! It's an adorable little game about a girl who wants to finally go on a date with her long-time friend but people keep interrupting her with puzzle battles. It's extremely light & silly, but there's a genuinely romantic little date scene in there ~ it's fun even if you don't know anything about Touhou.

Cropped cover of Harrow the Ninth. Shows Harrow, a short woman with dark cropped hair, wearing all black except for a white cape and skeletal corset, equipped with a sword, and holding out a hand as she raises skeletons from the dead. Bones and dust whirl around her. it rules

And for books, I re-read Harrow The Ninth recently. God, I wish I could channel Muir's ability to write stories that manage to be simultaneously overwrought sci-fi nonsense, extremely comedic juxtapositions, unforgivable one-liners and love stories deeper than romance. I'm jealous on the galactic scale.

ok I ended up mentioning a few anyway... I'm excited to have a little more free time, I have so many books piled up behind me right now
