i've refreshed my resume, registered for unemployment, applied for a scattershot of jobs, emailed former employers, canceled a bunch of unnecessary expenses.
at this point there's nothing to do but wait and see for a while. i know i'm extremely fortunate for this, but this is the first time i've had to go through the layoff process.
i guess silver linings:
- got a "free" desktop PC, all it cost me was my sanity for a few months.
- now I have no excuse to not work on personal projects until I find real work.
but for now i'm gonna just try to decompress for the rest of the day.
