yeah it's, "has conventionally attractive characters", has enough budget and traditional gameplay to be considered a "real game" (unlike all those VNs, solo indies, etc), and popular enough that people can talk about it in mixed company without coming off as "too gay". it's the gaming equivalent of Pete Buttigieg.
i remember mostly seeing people throw it around to talk about a fuckin marvel movie so yeah *gesturing at your post* all that shit. it's kind of a big reason why im always gonna make the love interests in my works fat and hairy (and also having more than literally one fat and hairy guy.)
