I liked it, but it does something terrible in that it introduces you to Anna and Ssrin, then proceeds to spend the next 80% of the book on things and characters that are just way way less compelling. narratively interesting sure, compelling sci-fi stuff, vividly imagined body horror, a great picture of the trolley problem writ large, but not as immediately wonderful to behold as whatever fucked up relationship Anna/Ssrin have.
