DAE hate it when a prophecy says that a member of a certain clan will bring about your demise, so you have the clan wiped out but one child survives and grows up with vengeance in their heart, and then they come for revenge and dethrone you, fulfilling the prophecy? anyone?

I tried to get ahead of it and just make sure to kill the one kid but it turned into a whole thing and he ended up getting crucified and starting a crazy cult
