i think you find a lot of "believers" in AI/LLM/etc stuff among the grifter business class in large part because these are people with no internal self and no sense of meaning behind anything, so the empty and purely surface-level shit that those systems produce is indistinguishable from the real thing to them. these are people that have cut out their soul to become "number go up" machines, and so they relate to and are completely taken in by LLMs, which are also built on the principle of "number go up".
