i think it's a great level of attention to draw if i already know what i'm looking for and am familiar with the mechanic, from like a tutorial prompt or something like that earlier. good, satisfying density of detail there that feels time respectful.

if the mechanic is never explicitly stated, it might take me a little bit to notice what's happening, though (although that's not always a bad thing in itself either)

Thank you for the feedback! I'm definitely feeling like I'm leaning towards pointing it out in a tutorial prompt early on since it'll be an important mechanic. Being time respectful is a big goal of mine so I'm glad that's coming through!

it does feel just a tiny bit too fast. i think it would also be nice if the FP blinked white while targeting in the same way the enemy hp does? serve as a constant reminder while taking yr turns that basic attacks generate FP, so the player will make conscious use of it more and so internalize it faster

Oh yes! I'd been considering adding the blinking for that bar for that exact reason. I think I'm going to go ahead and do that. I'll find a way to make this refill animation take a little longer since I was worried about it being a bit too fast too. Thanks for your input!
