Moving coast-to-coast was/has been unbelievably stressful, so my comfort food TV for the last few months has been watching old Nickelodeon game shows. The best part of watching them as an adult is that you immediately see through all the cool flashy stuff, and instead you notice the panicking adults at the center of it. Double Dare is still fun but it is an absolute trainwreck of a show in the most watchable way you could imagine. Marc Summers keeps arguing with the producers who are barely off-camera. There's tons of inside jokes at the expense of the directors/production staff that nobody in the audience gets. It RULES.
