A thing I've noticed recently is that as much as I love talking about myself and telling stories about my life (I love these things), I've been having trouble doing it online, particularly in long-form ways. Over voice is fine (whether online or offline), but for some reason I seem to be hitting a block when I try to type it. I think for some reason, the lack of being able to gauge how the conversation is sitting in real-time is making me really reluctant to just…say things, moreso than it has in the past.
Then too, I just had to adjust how I say things in text 2 years ago when I started coming around places in Twitch and Twitter, where being able to read and get the gist of what you're saying quickly is a benefit to all involved. So maybe it's that, too.
anyway, all this is to say, please use my ask box! it's ok to be anonymous or to ask me to respond to you in a non-public format, I just would like to get back in the practice of talking about myself via text again.
P.S. Also, if you're worried about prying, don't be? Most of the people who can see this are people I have private modes of talking to, so even if I don't feel comfortable sharing for all to see, I'll still answer you! I definitely know it's ok to not share everything, but to me, wanting to know stuff about each other (and trusting each other with questions and responses) is a big part of becoming closer as friends. It's nice to know people won't pry if you aren't comfortable answering but it can be kind of lonely sometimes to feel like people don't want to know more about you.
