I almost replied "Not in california anymore!!!" but that prompted me to look it up and it turns out even this minute thing somehow still got locked in bureaucratic purgatory despite the fact we apparently voted to get rid of it twice
My dad was absolutely convinced we had gotten rid of it. I had to look it up for him because we really weren't sure. If I'm remembering right, they did pass to remove it in the Senate, but nothing has happened since then??
So incredibly happy we don't have it here in Arizona. apparently "It's sunny all the time" means DST is pointless here lmao. Same for Hawaii
