I'm a Vietnamese cis woman born and currently living in the U.S. You may know me from Sandwich, from Twitter or Mastodon (same username), or on Twitch as Sharkaeopteryx. I do not have a Discord or Bluesky account.

Ask me about language learning/teaching, cooking/eating food, late diagnosis ADHD, and volunteer small business mentoring. Or don't, I'm not the boss of you.

I think people deserve to be young, make mistakes, and grow without being held to standards they don't know about yet and are still learning. So, if you are under 22, please don't try to strike up a friendship or get involved in discussions on my posts.

Microblogvember #29: ghosts

I just installed Naver Whale on a new mobile device (hmu with your recs for good adblocker non-nft mobile browsers for a non-to-mediocre techie btw) and both the toggle and the tab counter are little ghost icons and it's extremely cute.

I'm glad most ghost-type Pokémon are not literally dead spirits.

I am a giant chicken with horror stuff but (or maybe therefore) I really enjoy games where the objective is to be a ghost that scares people. I played the crap out of Ghost Master (if you controlled ghost Sims and you used them to scare non-ghost Sims) and I thought Haunt the House: Terrortown was great (it is a haunted day in the building and you are a ~~horrible goose~~ horrifying ghost trying to scare everyone away).
