Adam Conover interviewed Kevin Perjurer on his podcast and there’s a great moment where Adam doesn’t know who the Wiggles are but Kevin is just in total disbelief about it and fucking losing it and tries to explain the Wiggles to Adam but for some reason never describes them as being a band for children and just keeps saying sentences like “You’ve never heard of Fruit Salad Yummy Yummy?!” And Adam is just so confused saying “what do you mean have I never heard of fruit salad yummy yummy what are you talking about” and Kevin Perjurer just keeps over explaining the Wiggles to Adam Conover and getting in to so much of his research from the Wiggles documentary and never once mentions to Adam Conover that they are for children and keeps talking about them like they’re a serious Australian band and I just gotta say I highly recommend it

Apparently this sparked a huge schism in Adam Conover's Discord between the people who know about the Wiggles and the people who don't, according to a friend of mine.
as someone who routinely jumps the gun on explaining stuff and accidentally leaves out major important details like this: lol, lmao, amazing.

until reading the comments of this post, I had no idea that anything mentioned in this edit of the comic were real things and not just making fun of the idea by making up random nonsense
Like, the first time I read this comic, until I got to the comments on this chost, it did not register that "wigglemania" and "wiggles" were real things (are the red car and fruit salad things real or made up? no idea!)

i feel like even if you don't know fruit salad yummy yummy, you should at least have been aware of The Wiggles as a Cultural force, they were huge when they were active.
