I don't post enough content here about the things I am really into. While typing this I thought, "and I don't know if I'm gonna," but literally midsentence I started getting ideas, so. We'll see. I did microblogvember and that was I think the first time I had ever completed a 30-day challenge like that. The other time it was a "journaling" challenge for a group I was in and it only reinforced how much I hate journaling and the way most people say to do it just Does Not Work For Me.
…did I ever post that thing I wrote about how that type of journaling doesn't work for me, or is it still siting around in drafts? I should check up on that.
Anyway, some ideas I have that might get me to post more of the things I'm into:
I typed the original post at like 04:30 and went to sleep without checking to make sure the markdown had parsed correctly, which as we know is a sin. I did not realize that 2 extra hyphens and forgetting the blank lines on either side would create a header instead of a readmore, I apologize for the error that probably nobody noticed or was put out by.
At least Cohost's html + markdown interactions work better than Buttondown's (which is, mm, I was going to say a little sad until I remembered that Buttondown's staff is at least 33% smaller than Cohost). (I know it's publicized as Just One Guy but I have received an e-mail from another staff member there, though idk if they were temporary or not)
(That in itself is a whole story about why you should be better with boundaries as a small biz owner but I digress. Bottom line is it was everyone's fault so therefore it's no one's fault and Buttondown is fine as long as you don't expect it to be more than what it is. also I'm apparently better at html than I think I am.)
