I was telling my mom about this new song i played today called My Baby Mama by Anquette. Very fun song and a nice, but challenging chart on Hard 15. I played it for mom and she recognized it from somewhere else.
It was a inspired by a song in the 90s called My Baby Daddy by B'Rock the Bizz.
StepmaniaX once again showing why it's goated.
I’m actually super elated about this cuz my biggest gripe about Rhythm games today is alot of them don’t really have “Black” music. I’m not just talking about hip hop or rap, but jazz, funk, disco, and even house are rare finds on alot of modern machines. DDR has a good backlog that has some of the old hits, but most modern rhythm games mostly just have pop and anime music. Which is fine, but It’s not really the sound I’m going for. Anyway, it's fine to celebrate Black History Month by finding a StepmaniaX machine or loading up Stepmania on your PC to play "My Baby Mama"
we just found the YT artist page for Anquette, and Apparently they're a group out of Miami that was kickin around for a minute. even before the original "My Baby Daddy" song, but their remix came out in 2005.
Here's a YT playlist of the album "My Baby Mama" comes from
