I played through Galactic Foodtruck Simulator 2999. It's a labor of love with a lot of detail: the variety of color-coded recipes, the funny or just strange headlines in the newspaper, the incredibly detailed ANSI art for characters including ones who pop in for just one visit.
The vibe reminds me of Starcon 2. It's humorous (even sometimes silly) but still conveys an eerie sci-fi sense of wonder. The way the Galactic President talks - filling in words and letters out-of-order is such a neat touch. I don't want to give things away, so I'll just say that there are surprises - events before and after the standard workday, and even things that change up the rules of the game.
