While my day job continues to be a pain, it is the weekend and I do have time to work on Quoll! However, as I said last time I worked on it, I was going to run all the tests since I changed what's printed when Ada LOOKs in the Time-Cursor, which as I can also see, caused a bunch of taff-speak tests to change too.
So going to start this work session by clicking bubbles. (OK, I'm actually going to start by going down the street to a friends' house where I left my weed last night, but then after that...
e: they were out of the house! oh well, good to get a bit of exercise!
And that's the skein updated! I noticed that there isn't a bless all commands button yet, you can click a command and select "bless all commands to here", which let me just look through the output of my script that I use to find differences, check they were all expected and then just go look for the changed bubbles, clicking whichever one was lowest to get the ones above it.
Saved a lot of time! Going to take a break and think about the game design issue that originally prompted this, giving the Playerr an easy way to experiment with a new concept in this exercise.
Ok, the break took a bit longer, but that was partially because I was grabbing my weed and coffee to get ready to do a gamedev stream!
I've been avoiding doing gamedev streams because I have a character I want to be a surprise, but I miss doing them and have finally got to real implementation work, so I'm doing a stream of me working on my reality-programming text adventure, Quoll!:
