isn't this a pretty swift, appropriate, and overall reasonable response to what is inevitably quite an uncommon and unlikely issue? idk this seems better than what a lot of “good” companies would do and have done

They're not, because of techbroism of course, but yes, at that price point they absolutely should be bullied for shipping a shitty peripheral.

gotta be real, a lotta companies would probably just tell you to get shafted in this situation. it's pretty damn proactive to issue warnings to all customers after a single report involving a non-stock charger, do have to hand it to them on that one. wish this was more standard behaviour across tech companies. i imagine they'll probably do a recall or something once they finish up investigations as well, if this is their initial reaction
