This requires me getting, again, more technical than I would like, but not necessarily to the same degree.
It seems like Quartz would make it relatively easy to customize an RSS feed to behave in a more bloglike way.
And critically, this also removes the arbitrary max vault size threshold that Obsidian Publish has. I just don't want to get farther into the weeds technically than I have to right now because of limited brainpower.
I'm able to run it okay and get an acceptable default output. The built-in RSS generation is significantly better than Obsidian's, and there's an option for full text which is good. But it doesn't have a built in function for either generating multiple RSS feeds (e.g., one per tag or one per folder) or filtering out the RSS feed to just include notes with a certain tag etc.
This sort of thing is certainly achievable (see below for some folks' examples in practice), but it requires going a bit farther than just setting a config value.
Other than, it's pretty appealing. The only big eason why I would potentially want to stick with Obsidian Publish over it is that it's nice to be able to publish posts from tablet and phone in an uncomplicated way.
