don't mistake anger and motivation for eachother, and don't mistake someone else's calmness for apathy. anger isn't inherently a morally good quality nor a requisite for being revolutionary or demanding change.

all too often i see people, intentionally or not, just using that as an excuse to take our their anger at the system on their peers and friends. then getting burned out to a crisp, or pacified as soon as things get better for them personally, or getting avoided by the people they've just hurt along the way.

you cannot be viscerally angry forever, you have to have more than in-the-moment hate and frustration driving you and your politics.

Something that would be nice on social media platforms would be some way of adding like, I guess different target audiences? With the whole discussion over direct cross-origin resources, proxies, IP addresses etc. I'm realizing that we're all, even in my circle of nerds, at very different levels when it comes to this conversation and make different assumptions about each other's knowledge and familiarity which leads to communication issues. What's "basic knowledge" for someone should be clarified for someone else.
Sometimes when I'm in my Discord server with my friends and we're troubleshooting someone's computer issues, I move over to another channel to talk more technically in order to not scare the person we're helping with any jargon or to not have to explain a very complex concept to them that doesn't ultimately matter. I guess I wish I could do something like that for other social media too? Mark something as "for turbo-nerds only, I am omitting very important information and I'd rather you ignore this completely than misunderstand what I mean" but that's a very vague concept that would probably be completely useless as a feature.

Literally everything else about the platform was ehh at best, but that one aspect of it was perfect. You could control who saw what easily, and it’s such a shame the platform flopped so hard (in terms of public reaction) no one else wanted to copy the good innovation.

You do not need to put your "legal name" (????) on a C Standards Paper. You can submit a paper from Little Blorbo and make your company name "self".

Whether or not you'll want to live down being Little Blorbo for the rest of C's history is on you.
