i am looking to purchase a fight stick for street fighter so that playing sf4 and 5 feels more like it should as on controller its just not the same

i play mk on keyboard because i am a freak and sf6 on controller currently and only really want to learn this for the sf franchise in hopes that i can get used to it and eventually transition to classic controlls on sf6

what do you guys recomend? ik il be a lot more casual on a fight stick because my muscle memory will be conditioned to keyboards and controllers so im ultimately looking for something affordable that will feel good and get the job done and is ideally small and requires only 1 cable and is easy to set up on pc

im also aussie so maybe use a vpn if you want to recomend stuff to me because things that are cheap in the us are often pretty expensive here and australia may have stuff that the us doesnt.

sorry to bother you but you seem experienced so il show you what i dug up and get your thoughts

i think the strongest candidate i can find currently would be the krom gaming kumite as its one of the only fight sticks available from local retailers and is over the budget enough to be reasonable but all reviews are in foreign languages and its only issue seems to be noise

theres also this one in the case that the other one turns out to be terrible

(to have it in the box)

(jesus that is a lot of trackers in those links)

(i think i will get the kumite and give it a shot but il still ask ya anyway)

I haven't used either of those, but in my experience all sticks are just loud, yeah. I haven't heard of Kumite, but Hori is well known. It seems like price mostly comes down to build quality (metal vs plastic, the weight of the metal is nice to keep it from moving) and replaceable components so you can replace or swap in different buttons or whatever. If reviews are good, I think you'd be fine with either.

okay, the only english review was some dude on youtube who said

"it has options to be used as analog or digital stick and yes it can do diagonals, its not the best but a good starting point for someone new to the arcade stick, the buttons cannot be modded because they used mechanical keyboard type buttons under the hood"

about the kumite so i think il buy it

ive seen a mad catz white on cash converters for 160 and sure thats 60 over my budget but its down from 200 and its been used in the competitive scene so i have faith that it will be a reliable stick and i may get it as ive heard these fight sticks last a long while

wait nvm its new years theres no way cashies will be open

the hunt continues
