if you see a post that upsets you… you’re probably better off just leaving it alone and moving on to other things. don’t send criticisms on anon, don’t vaguepost about it as if no one will see. especially if the users involved in said post are already getting many comments, asks, etc. about it. no one likes a dogpile.
throwing more fuel on the fire, even if you think you mean well, is likely not going to be constructive or worth your time. more likely it will just raise tensions even more.
and lastly, remember that purposefully seeking out content that upsets you is harmful and self-defeating. please take care of yourself everyone.
i don't know why hating felt so good but the more i talked about it and thought about it the more i realized that it never ends and achieves nothing
if you are heated on social media ask yourself what happens at the end of the conversation
did anything actually get resolved?
i feel like 99 times out of 100 you end up just getting bored and your opinions stay the same
if anything its more like entertainment than an actual debate and its just a never ending back and forth of unleashed anger
im not saying the comments shouldn't exist and on YouTube videos i still say what i think but the minute someone argues against it i just immediately disengage as i know the debate isnt worth my time and i encourage others to do the same
if you disagree or agree just say what you think and move on
don't argue with anyone on the internet unless they raise smart points and make you rethink your opinion and even then you are in no way obligated to contribute
if they are just being blatantly toxic and venting out all their hatred they aren't worth your time
