why are there so many rougelite systems in indie games?
am i just unobservant and has this just been going on for ages have indie developers started to enjoy rougelite systems more recently?
most of these games benefit from this but its getting out of hand and i cant help but wonder if some of these games would be fine without these systems and i wonder if this trend will start to spill into triple a games.
what do you guys think?
