so I'm using zoho writer to edit one of my stories...

It has a built in AI helper (which you can completely ignore if you choose to) that tracks a bunch of things like your grammar, spelling, run-on sentences and so on.

It has informed me in the politest terms possible that I apparently write like I'm trying really hard to sound smart. Too many polysyllabic words and a lot of sentence padding 😭

It's right, too. Fuckin hell is it right. Reading this back, I write like I'm trying to impress a college professor (I also talk that way so that's fun 🙃)

But like damn ZIA did you have to put it so plainly? 😭😭

• smartass, prominent editor, notable for creating many pages which caused controversies on their notability and his style of writing. a bit of an informal revolution leader guy, people either love him or hate him
• mithgol, livejournal celebrity for having blocked half of the site, overall really crazy guy, russian nationalist, has dreams of making a "hypertext fidonet", talks in pre-revolution orthography

smartass creates a page titled "mayonnaise jar", which causes a very lengthy argument in the "pages for deletion" section, culminating in mithgol uploading a picture of a jar of his own pee titled "jar filled with urine a bit more than a half" to the page.
smartass then creates page "mithgol's urine" to which the latter responds with an antisemitic rant (this was usual for him) calling out several other completely unrelated users which turned the flamewar into a true conflagration

and because by that time half the russian internet knew of this drama most of the votes on the deletion discussion for the mithgol piss page were actually keep
and the phrasing of "a big more than a half" became a meme on its own

went from doin ya mom to having a wikipedia page dedicated to his piss
