Queer as in here to stay, not pray me away. Writer, philosopher, Columbo is awesome, play video games with me, thinker, navel-gazer, folk magic practitioner, and way too much more.

While playing Book of Hours, a question floated by or a comment and I don't remember why but I went off on a tangent about the world. I started chatting about how ridiculous it was and how things were becoming ever more insane in this world. It appears that chat was of the same mind. We all ended up discussing the world, the Christian cult, hermetic traditions, why the world seems to be in this spiral, and how we can choose to take better actions in the world personally.

As is above, so is below. All is one; one is all. God is you and you are God. The understanding that you are the tangible being capable of acting and the intangible being capable of judgment and thought. I ended up wondering if I was unintentionally crafting a strange sermon in real time. It reminded me that I had always wanted to be a philosopher and pastor type. A shaman in the digital misinformation age. Someone who is willing to say, hey, maybe don't ask for an exorcist, maybe get a carbon monoxide detector first.

We talked about Sam Vimes and how Terry Pratchett has a heart of true justice when he wrote. Not to mention what a witty and entertaining writer in general. Gosh, if only I can be half as good.

I talked about my past employment, the fuckery I've seen, how we continue the trauma cycle, and what I think about the current state of affairs. It was a solid 2 or more hours of just chatting (which I should've changed the topic/game title to, now that I think about it).

Any road, it was an eye opening experience for me. Maybe there is a place for me in this world despite it all. Maybe folks do want to listen to someone discussing what they've seen and learned and heard in a story or a tale. I gained heart and confidence during the relatively active discussion.

I also learned quite a bit about Book of Hours. Did you know you can just talk to the people who are helping you to gain a somewhat random memory card? I didn't! I learned how to make a particular lens, a mystical feather, and I wasted a lot of shillings. That said, what a game. I love the esoteric and strange. The eclectic and taboo.

Thank you to everyone who came out from this site or were there. You likely won't see it, but I won't forget it any time soon. Until next time.
