At least, I think so. After watching through the selected cut scenes on the super limited edition movie disc. 7-8 hours out of 40-50 is quite a cut though.
I do think that MOMO and Ziggy as well as Shion and even others in the cast point a lot more towards what we find humane, what matters to us, what is compassion, and whether humanizing others is important even when they come from a different place than us.
The Life Recycling Act, Personality Reconditioning, Realiens with self-destruction, U-DO, URTVs, Zohars and emulators, the kabbalah, instances of mind control, an extradimensional force destroying humanity and life, and a source of infinite power and information. These things all come together to make a story about what life means and who we stand for and with.
Any road, I'm rambling, but it was nice to go back to an old touchstone of mine in the past and reconsider it in my current age and perspective. We should be going into Xenosaga II as well with those movie discs sometime in the future. Maybe next Sunday night, tonight is Mahjong Monday, of course.
