Shay is a skunk fur on the internet

Queer as in here to stay, not pray me away. Writer, philosopher, Columbo is awesome, play video games with me, thinker, navel-gazer, folk magic practitioner, and way too much more.

We did some time sorting our books and things so they're slightly easier to find. Also, we accomplished the following.

  1. Make EGG into Beasts, we have met the following now: dog, viper, gull, chimeric larva, chickens, and a creature that hasn't been seen since the previous Sun was around. E.G. a Tortoise with gems for eyes and sigils on its shell and it looks and sounds like it's from some voided place somewhere else.
  2. We now have at least 1 bit of all 9 bits of our soul, having found our first Chor last night. This can only bode well, I'm certain.
  3. How to brew tea and similar. (perhaps this also is the manner in which we turn food bits into actual meals?)
  4. How to create some starter inks (for what purpose, I know not).
  5. How to 'win'? Or at least another goal (achieve 20 principle strength in my writing so I may write a new page in my journal, signaling my desire to create and jot down a history).
  6. We also accomplished having a piece of our soul getting sick because we failed to read a book and understand it, causing the Librarian to have a need for a lay down and a glass of water.
  7. The larva makes us scared (Memory: Fear) and I'm afraid what the turtle is going to do to me but don't know what it'll do yet. The chickens, Terrence and Tuppance, give eggs in exchange for feeding them after. The dog, gull, and viper will be discussed later as I have time to give them foods and walkies.
  8. There are at least three sets of busts available for us to understand: The Barons, The Librarians, and likely, the Abbots (we haven't found a place to put these yet, if any).
  9. We opened the clock tower portion of the house, and I have no idea what I'm going to be using that space for, if anything.
  10. I don't know if we can 'cook' something yet, haven't found how to do that. I have found a lot of ways to create 5 principle items though. There are QUITE A FEW!

These learnings have led me to believe we're about to move out of the 'first' phase of the game and into the 'next' phase where I'm working consistently with about 10 of a principle when crafting or working. We need to push to 12 for each one if possible too.

I had someone in chat last night say they had beaten the very path I was on, so it's possible! Hopefully!

I'm not sure what we'll be playing next time. Likely some Jupiter Hell or maybe something else. I don't know if Marvel Snap is a 'likable' type of game to watch, even if I do get some enjoyment out of it myself while playing. Ever since I stopped playing M:tG, I have been looking for a card game to fill in that hole. Maybe someone can point me in a better direction for that purpose.

In any case, it was a great stream, we even raided a new trash animal type stream. :3 Trash animals unite.

Book of Hours is a wonderful game and I won't be putting it down until I figure out how to get an ending. Maybe you'd like to help this skunk pretend to be a librarian?

I'll mostly be moving books around and figuring out how things work, so let's learn together while I drink some decaf coffee for a boost to my principles.

We're going to get back into Book of Hours tonight on the burgeoning Twitch stream. I don't generally post here for that, so if you are interested, the best way to get notifications is to follow me on Twitch!

I would've streamed last night, I ended up actually getting some sleep last night, so I didn't do my usual insomnia-fueled stream. I want to make sure dinner is ready/available for me and others before then though. What will we be doing? Cataloguing and moving books! Seriously though, there are SO MANY THINGS TO JOT DOWN. Statues, books, memories, craftings, gathering, and whether or not we've unintentionally borked ourselves.

So, if you want a chill time chatting while I make sense of an occultist's eldritch library, drop on by later when I'm live! Ask questions, I'll be sure to answer them as best I can. :3

I need to come up with a more solid schedule, but that's difficult to do when searching for work (thus the late night insomnia-fueled ones in general). I do want to try though, if only to schedule and enforce gaming/socialization time for myself. It's good for me to chat with folks and I've enjoyed the streams I've had so far. Had lots of fun discussions too!

We are crafting together... something greater than us and yet is us all the same. Want to participate in that ritual? As social creatures... we are gently pulled to dance amongst one another in our own ways.
