Edit 3: Our plucky adventurer has been burned alive by Ithotu. Bummer, but we now know that the Ill Fated drawback isn't the worst. We'll try again another time!

Edit 2: We are trying again, this time with a hard wire. Let's see what happens.

EDIT: Unfortunately, technical network issues have dropped our stream. Currently diagnosing. May not be back on tonight.

The game released today for PC and it comes out for consoles next week. I don't really know what else to say other than it's as if you're playing "Eldritch Investigation Board Game" but with different aesthetics than the usual faire.

We're going to play some of the 1.0 version today. I've played it quite a bit before in early access, so I'm excited to see what has come of it now. I'm still even relatively new to it, so the new situations should be an interesting twist on a good time.

Mature game is mature though, be aware if you want to watch. Junji Ito inspired aesthetic, eldritch horror with interesting old god entities, and weird shit all around. This game is pretty freaky, and if you're not used to the type of content this type of horror provides, well...

In WORLD OF HORROR, there are frequent scenes disturbing and horrific scenes of implied violence, gore and mutilation of human bodies. All such scenes are presented in a 2D pixel art style, but nonetheless may have a realistic triggering impact on players with potential sensitivities. Player discretion is advised.

In addition, the game includes casual usage of cigarettes.

So BEWARE and join me for a what is hopefully some horror and chill while we try not to die as school children against the supernatural. Maybe we can find some way to stop this horror that we're all seeing happen before our eyes too.

We're going live with it at:

We're going to get back into Book of Hours tonight on the burgeoning Twitch stream. I don't generally post here for that, so if you are interested, the best way to get notifications is to follow me on Twitch!

I would've streamed last night, I ended up actually getting some sleep last night, so I didn't do my usual insomnia-fueled stream. I want to make sure dinner is ready/available for me and others before then though. What will we be doing? Cataloguing and moving books! Seriously though, there are SO MANY THINGS TO JOT DOWN. Statues, books, memories, craftings, gathering, and whether or not we've unintentionally borked ourselves.

So, if you want a chill time chatting while I make sense of an occultist's eldritch library, drop on by later when I'm live! Ask questions, I'll be sure to answer them as best I can. :3

I need to come up with a more solid schedule, but that's difficult to do when searching for work (thus the late night insomnia-fueled ones in general). I do want to try though, if only to schedule and enforce gaming/socialization time for myself. It's good for me to chat with folks and I've enjoyed the streams I've had so far. Had lots of fun discussions too!

We are crafting together... something greater than us and yet is us all the same. Want to participate in that ritual? As social creatures... we are gently pulled to dance amongst one another in our own ways.

We will be starting the twitch stream of Day 3 of my current Book of Hours run at the link below:

I've got the sounds and bitties and things working for those of you into that. Since I'm unemployed, I certainly appreciate any change you throw my way. I also have sound alerts and channel points active for those of you who prefer to spend time there instead!

I've made the pact with myself to not start over until I actually lose, so I don't start over again and again just because I learned something new. A 'first timer' challenge run of sorts. Help this neophyte out alright? Seriously! If you're interested in the occult, mysticism, the taboo, or otherwise, I'd love to chat with you about the esoteric, mundane, and mystical!
