lmao yeah windows 11, sucks ass. my main laptop is linux and I always forget how insufferable windows is
windows trying to guilt trip me for choosing to never turn the screen off gets me so pissed that i honestly feel like widening the ozone hole just out of spite. stupid ass system
I ended up stuck on Windows again this year after a few years of almost exclusively using Linux and when it started lecturing me about my environmental impact I really wanted to flip the table of whoever ordered that put in there...
Ah yes, the next Paper Straw will be... uh, laptop backlights.
On the one hand, yes it does conserve some power so you can charge less often, but on the other hand, if the top 100 largest companies agreed to massively refactor their business practices then there would no longer be climate destabilization.
