basically every single person i've seen saying they use chatgpt for,,, any task, online or irl, has told me something absolutely bonkers that would be (a) easier to do themselves, and (b) requires facts that it can't provide; or hilariously (c) literally already exists and they're picking a harder, worse route to find a "solution"
the only thing i've seen and been like, mayyyybe on was writing stern emails lmao cause i am terrible at them.
even then it's like. when i'm struggling to write an email i'm not struggling to put words to paper i'm struggling to understand how it'll be interpreted and if that matches what i want
Ahh, yeah i’m pretty bad at giving people their last chance before legal action (freelance work and security deposits), luckily in the security deposit one CA has form letters to send to landlords. And for the freelance work i asked my friend but it would’ve been easier to just edit a form email that chat GPT whipped up in that dispassionate tone. it’s definitely an edge case bc otherwise i write fantastic emails.
it's an incredible tool for fleshing out fictional settings FWIW lol. need an npc with a plausible backstory that sounds like you wrote in two minutes? chatgpt's got you
since when is making up sample problems the hard part of teaching a math class anyway
did it previously take her multiple hours to think of an example of a square root
