I’m at the ER and they’re playing a Hallmark Xmas movie and I now understand why in Hanukkah on Rye they all light the big electric menorah outdoors while holding candles and it’s because they’re trying to replicate the scene in the Xmas movies where people stand outside lighting the town Xmas tree and sing Xmas carols. Lmao. It looks identical.

Still think it’s so funny that in the Jewish hallmark movie they have the big city boy move to the “small town” except the “small town” is New York City.

i watched my first hallmark movie ever this week, A Biltmore Christmas, because it has TWO star trek actors in it, Jonathan Frakes and Robert Picardo (The Doctor on Voyager). It actually owned bc it was self-referentially about Hallmark christmas movies
