Going from 6 hours of James Somerton Plagiarism to PhilosophyTube really makes all the proper citations and the way she backs up every single thing she says with clear and centered references to her sources stand out so strikingly. She physically holds up books she read and basically promotes them and gets the viewer to wanna read it. And has Anita Sarkeesian read passages to you next to the cover of the book it comes from. Any time another YouTuber or smaller creator has touched on this topic their work appears as an on screen citation whenever relevant. Everything she says frequently is phrased as “Crenshaw says say…” nothing is stated as self-evidential and coming from the void.
It makes my librarian heart very happy seeing proper bibliography here. Love Abigail Thorne.
