I know I had multiple friends who often failed to ever see discord messages before because their DMs were hiding in that folder and they just never navigated to it. I don't have the discord mobile app at the moment so I can't speak to the changes, but I know it was a problem for a lot of users.
I just wish they didn't make the Dark theme darker. The layout is whatever to me. But the color change annoys me most, makes the contrast way too stark at times.
there's three options: light, dark, and midnight. the dark mode isn't as dark as midnight.
Yes, but now it's a deep navy blue instead of the medium gray. The gray was softer than the dark blue is, to me. To my eyes, the new dark theme is closer to Midnight/OLED dark, at least on my Android phone.
i noticed this too! the old dark mode was perfectly fine. they didn't have to change the default dark mode colors like that
