hmm, i’ll make a post with it and see what’s up but that should be the css to say “this is pre-formatted” do you have the html that didnt work?
I copied the HTML exactly from your comment. I've figured out another solution that works with <pre> tags though

yeah see your HTML preserves white space but it doesn't stop text wrapping which is the other issue with poetry
ah i shall craft some that fixes the wrapping too (without having the monospace/color changes that come with pre)
ok i updated the example with overflow-x: scroll; which should give the text wrapping behavior of pre
