It’s not that I don’t want to pay $5 for the vegan cupcake from Giant but it’s not in the self checkout system so every time I scan it an overworked store associate has to come manually key the price into the machine which is very time consuming for both of us. So I think it’s just to everyone’s benefit if I ring it up as 0.79lbs of bananas.
