Reminds me of the trans 101 glossary I wrote in college when I lead a trans support group. It was something like:

Cisgender: Someone who agrees with their assigned sex at birth. Often abbreviated to just 'cis.' Cisgender people often feel negatively about how their bodies do not conform to gendered expectations, and may take efforts to change their presentation and bodies to be more in line with how they want to appear, up to and including surgeries.

Transgender: Someone who disagrees with their assigned sex at birth. Often abbreviated to just 'cis.' Transgender people often feel negatively about how their bodies do not conform to gendered expectations, and may take efforts to change their presentation and bodies to be more in line with how they want to appear, up to and including surgeries.
