Last night I dreamt that I was trying to sell someone on reading the book Frankenstein at work but had forgotten everything about the book and just made up a completely different story on the spot called "Mary Shelley and the Restless Corpse" about a female scientist who studies cadavers and takes care of a morgue where they store cadavers. But every morning one of the cadavers is always in a different position or even location. As though it were getting up at night and moving around. She at first insists she must be imagining things but gradually becomes and more convinced, and obsessed with, that her "restless corpse" is moving around at night. So she tries to figure out various ways to stake out the morgue without anyone else catching her in order to watch this cadaver move.
And apparently this was "history's first young adult novel" and not the first sci-fi novel
