Sometimes I accidentally see a really bad take from Twitter that just seems so outright dangerous I feel compelled to write a cohost essay in response basically as a subtweet even though it won't even be seen by the same people I just refuse to write any more #Threads🧵 on Twitter cuz it's such a bad way to communicate ideas.

i don't know if it's the people doing it or a necessity of the medium but i find the breathless, continuous tone of alarm and outrage that keeps up throughout the entirety of all of these threads exhausting and repellent
