While I still don't understand what's in it for them I am very grateful that there are men in the world who do enjoy being men. As a heterosexual I greatly enjoy some guy who is bigger than me treating me like a beautiful delicate flower despite my callouses and scars. Not sure what the man is getting out of that but like, I'm glad it's apparently something. Happy for men at this enjoy. Couldn't be me. No idea what the appeal is in being one of those. But I greatly enjoy that other people continue to choose to do that because I enjoy their company.

I've had a lot of fun talking about trans things with trans men, the way each of us delights in the things the other couldn't stand. (So different talking with someone specifically, comparing our experiences, than the tumblr thing was where everyone took for granted that trans masculinity is just how being trans works and no one seemed to even remember the existence of trans feminine people)
