FWIW it was the first piece of aspec writing we’ve ever read that felt actually valuable and relatable to us, which is significant because we’ve been Very Online and Aware of the aspec Discourse since, uh, 2012? and literally all of our ex-partners identified on the ace spectrum, in ways that sometimes made sense to us and sometimes did not. (We’ve been grey-ace for almost a decade - it was our first adopted identity label, before any gender stuff)
